Report: NBA Kills Chris Paul to Lakers Trade
Well, it looks like the NBA keeps getting wackier. The Chris Paul deal that I wrote about early has been killed by David Stern. According to reports, the rest of the NBA owners were livid that the league-owned Hornets basically gift-wrapped Paul to the Lakers.
I’m not sure if this means Paul will remain a Hornet for long however. The teams could rework the deal and Paul could easily still be a Laker. I don’t like the precedent that this sets, but I can do nothing about it.
As always, we will keep you updated on this story as it remains fluid.
