Every player in the NBA is hoping to eventually win an NBA championship and Antawn Jamison is no different. Jamison has played with four different teams throughout his 14 year career in the NBA hoping to land in a spot where he could propel a team to a title. Jamison was originally drafted by the Toronto Raptors with the fourth pick in the 1998 draft but then had his rights traded to the Golden State Warriors for former teammate and best friend Vince Carter.

The four teams where Jamison has landed throughout his career include the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards, and Cleveland Cavaliers, but he is hoping to add another team to his list before the 35-year-old power forward eventually retires. Although Jamison was born in Shreveport, La., he was raised in North Carolina and would like to finish out his career with the Charlotte Bobcats.

Jamison is a free agent this summer and has said that he would love to play for two or three more seasons and said Tuesday that he would try to make them with the Bobcats, “That’s always been a dream of mine — to be home,” he said, the paper reports. “To have my parents there (at home games), to have my kids there.”

Certainly Jamison would be a big boost for the Bobcats who do not really have a lot of depth on their frontline and have struggled so far this season. Jamison is a two-time All-Star and won the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2004. He is averaging 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1 assist through 5 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season.
