New Orleans Hornet’s guard Eric Gordon will miss 2-3 weeks with a sore knee.

Gordon led the Hornets with 22 points in a loss against the Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday night. After the game his knee was reportedly to be swollen and team officials have stated that he will have to be off of it for a couple weeks. Gordon has only played in two games this season as he missed four games with a knee injury after the season opener.

This is not a good time for New Orleans to lose their top scorer as they are already struggling on the offensive side of the ball. Since Chris Paul was traded to the Clippers on December 15th, the Hornets have struggled with team chemistry on the court. Any significant time missed from any of the players will just delay the process of getting used to playing with each other.
