Video: Dallas Mavericks Visit White House
The Dallas Mavericks met with President Barack Obama on Monday afternoon at the White House in Washington, D.C. Last season the Mavs won their first-ever NBA Championship after defeating the Heat in the NBA Finals. Monday afternoon President Obama was funny and cordial as he hosted the Dallas team. Mark Cuban was embarrassing at times as he stood directly behind Obama during the President’s speech. Obama talked about Jason Terry’s tattoo, Cuban and of course, the President’s beloved Chicago Bulls…who he said would be there (at the White House) next year to everyone’s delight. It was a great trip and one that owner Mark Cuban had been waiting a lifetime for. Next year, hopefully the President is right as he usually is about basketball and his Chicago Bulls will be making the trip to D.C.
