Al Horford’s Surgey was a Success

According to the Atlanta Hawks, center Al Horford’s surgery to repair his torn left pectoral muscle is a success.

Horford is expected to be out 3-4 months after he suffered the injury against the Indiana Pacers a week ago. Even if the Hawks get to the postseason it is unlikely Horford will be able to contribute much since he will still have to physically rehabilitate the muscle.

It was a crushing blow to Atlanta when Horford went down but they seem to be doing good considering they have won three straight games since the injury.

Zaza Pachulia has been starting at center and is averaging 23.3 minutes, 7.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in the last three games.
