Derrick Rose Probable Against New Jersey Nets
Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose could play tonight against the New Jersey Nets. Rose was seen participating in this morning’s shootaround and seems to be feeling better. He has missed the last four games due to turf toe, an injury he will have to play with all season.
“All the swelling is out,” head coach Tom Thibodeau said. “Of course he’s got to warm up tonight to see if he’s good. He’s coming along well.”
Luol Deng is questionable with a left wrist injury, Taj Gibson is out with an ankle injury, John Lucas is a game-time decision with an injured groin and Joakim Noah should be able to play after missing Saturday’s game with an ankle injury.
Despite injuries slowly building up the Bulls remain to be the best team in the NBA with an impressive 15-3 record.
In 13 games played this season Rose is averaging 20.8 points, 8.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 43.9% from the field.
