Nike Unveils New Lightweight USA Basketball Jerseys

Nike Basketball tweeted out the above photo earlier today of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Deron Williams and Kevin Durant all wearing the new lightweight USA basketball team jerseys.

According to the tweet, the uniform is Nike’s lightest basketball jersey and it is made of approximately 96% recycled polyester. Nike is calling it the “Nike Hyper Elite Uniform.”

Deron Williams of the New Jersey Nets, who endorses Nike, modeled the lightweight performance uniforms and had only good things to say about them.

“… It almost feels like you’re just wearing your tights underneath,” Williams said of the uniforms, made in part from an engineered fabric that creates mesh areas in a garment without adding seams.
