America Votes LeBron James As Third Most Overpaid Person In America
According to a survey conducted by Yahoo! Finance and Fitness magazine, America has voted LeBron James as the third most overpaid person in America, behind Snooki and Kim Kardashian.
Really? I could name tons of other NBA players that are more overpaid than LeBron, let alone people in America. I don’t understand how you could make an argument for saying that James is overpaid. He’s arguably the most dominant athlete in the world, and without question the best player in the NBA today. And yet, he doesn’t even have the highest salary in the NBA. LeBron makes less than: Kobe Bryant, Rashard Lewis, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Gilbert Arenas, Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire, Joe Johnson, Dwight Howard, Elton Brand, Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Kevin Durant.
Rashard Lewis? Really?
This cements America’s hatred for LeBron and it appears that he will remain in the villain seat until he can silence the critics. This also appears to be a case of ignorance. LeBron is publicized and hated to the point where even my grandmother knows who he is. Regardless of him being overpaid or not, the point is that LeBron’s image continues to become dented and the only cure is winning the NBA championship.
