Video: Monta Ellis Calls Golden State Warriors Fans ‘Family’

It was an emotional night for Monta Ellis as he returned to the Oracle Arena for the first time to face the Golden State Warriors and it was also an emotional night for Warriors fans seeing Ellis in a Milwaukee Bucks jersey.
Ellis ended up scoring 18 points in his return and debut for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Yet, it was the interview before the game began that emotion could really be seen. A clip of an interview with Ellis was shown by Comcast Sportsnet and in that video Ellis referred to Warriors fans as his “immediate family.”
Here’s to success for Ellis in Milwaukee and there’s no doubt that he’ll always be considered a Warrior.
