Miami Heat forward Lebron James was just named the 2011-2012 NBA MVP and already has a Nike shoe to prove it. His endorsement shoe company is already ringing in his accomplishment by creating these shoes for “The King”.

The back of the shoe sports a sweet MVP design but an even cooler feature of the shoes is the insole inside:

The insole on the inside of Lebron’s MVP shoes highlights the awards that he has received since being in the NBA. More specifically they show each of his previous MVP awards and what year he won them in.

By winning his third MVP in four season, Lebron joins some exclusive company. He is the first person to win three MVP’s since Michael Jordan, he is the fourth player to win an MVP with multiple teams (Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Moses Malone) and is the first player since Abdul-Jabbar to win three MVP’s within four years.

Lebron led the Heat to a 46-20 record and the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. He averaged 27.1 ppg (third in the NBA) 6.2 apg (led the Heat) and 7.9 rpg (tied for first for MIA). On top of that he set new career bests in field goal percentage (.531) and three-point field goal percentage (.362).

Lebron and the rest of the Heat are just coming off of their first round series victory over the New York Knicks and James was a vital part averaging 27.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg and 5.6 apg. The Heat now move on to the semi-final round of the Eastern Conference playoffs to face the Indiana Pacers.

Lebron said he was “overwhelmed” when the news about his achievement broke but also said that he has “bigger goals in mind” and ultimately wants to just win an NBA Championship.
