Metta World Peace Gives Shout Out To Queensbridge After Game 7

In his first game after his seven game suspension, Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest of the Los Angeles Lakers helped turn the tide in Game 7 against the Denver Nuggets.  Peace did not shoot the ball overly well, but he still had 15 points and played great defense.  After the game, he was selected for an interview and gave us that true MWP flavor.

Peace was giving a shout out to his home of Queensbridge when Craig Sager tried to redirect to talking about the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Peace did not care and ended his interview with “Queensbridge ,baby, you already know.”  This could be the best quote ever give to end an interview, but we might have to review.

Here’s the thing.  We all know the Peace/Artest is not exactly normal.  In fact, he is probably the craziest person in the league.  He could legit kill someone and I do not think that anyone would bat an eye.  He is just that crazy.  Nothing that he does would shock me anymore.  That is just who is.

The Lakers will need him to be at his best, no matter what.  If him being crazy helps him play better, so be it.  They need all hands on deck against the Thunder.  It is going to be an absolute war and they are going to need to get everything that Peace can give them.
