Boston Celtics Fan Dumps Beer On LeBron James After Game 6
LeBron James had a game for the ages in Game 6 as the Miami Heat throttled the Boston Celtics. LeBron was in a zone as he ended up scoring 45 points, hauling in 15 rebounds, and dishing out five assists. This was arguably the best playoff game of his career. However, some Celtics fans didn’t like it and decided to give him a beer bath.
This was not your celebratory beer bath. LeBron James spent an entire game dissecting the Celtics and some fans were not happy about it. Getting a beer dumped on you is no fun, but I admire the reaction that James had. He did not let it bother him and he just kept walking.
This sets up an epic Game 7 for Saturday. The game will be back in Miami and if they get another LeBron James performance like this, the Heat should move on to the Finals. I think this game may have tempered the “LeBron isn’t clutch” argument, but I am sure it will not be long before it pops back up again.
This is the LeBron James that me and a lot of other basketball fans have waited to see. When the pressure was at its highest, he responded with an amazing game. People were quick to call it better than things that Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Kobe Bryant did. I wouldn’t go that far, but it was a tremendous game by (arguably) the best player on the planet.
