Part II: Milwaukee Bucks games to highlight in 2012-’13
As advertised, I am back for Part II of Milwaukee Bucks games you should circle, highlight, check off, whatever it is you do to remind yourself of games to make time for and be excited about for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2012-’13. By my account, there are 16 that stand out.

Now that the self-promotion is out of the way, let’s get on with it. Here are games 5-8 of the Milwaukee Bucks 2012-’13 season to anticipate:
5. Wednesday, November 28th v. New York
The New York Knicks have always had a certain aurora surrounding them. The Knicks generally bring bigger than usual crowds to the Bradley Center (now the BMO Harris Bradley Center for the record) and this season should be no different. The Knicks are expected to be a competitive/borderline elite team in ’12-’13 in the Eastern Conference.
Despite ‘Linsanity’ landing in Houston, New York has had an active off-season. The Knicks have added veteran, Hall-of-Fame bound point guard, Jason Kidd, center Marcus Camby and have brought back North Carolina Tar Heel, Raymond Felton to run the point.
New York also boasts Olympians Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and superstar PF Amare Stoudemire. Three-point specialist and Marquette product Steve Novak is also a bench player for the Knicks.
6. Sunday, December 9th @ Brooklyn
Ahhh, basketball has finally landed in Brooklyn, New York with an assist from rap mogul, Jay-Z. There hasn’t been this type of excitement for Nets basketball in about a decade when J-Kidd, ‘Vinsanity’ and Richard Jefferson wore the logo.
With a brand new arena in a prime spot in downtown Brooklyn, it’s sure to be an electric atmosphere for Brooklyn home games. Along with the arena and hype, the Nets should be a pretty good ball club this season.
The Nets are built around one of the best point guards in the league in Deron Williams, and in the off-season added all-star caliber SG Joe Johnson to pair with Williams to form a top-tier back court. Brooklyn has Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries and Brook Lopez to fill out the front court to form a formidable starting five.
7. Saturday, December 15th v. LA Clippers
Another Saturday night home game against an elite opponent. ‘Lob City’ featuring CPIII and Blake Griffin should be enough to compel you to come down to the BC for a Saturday night game. But with a down economy, more motivation may be needed to spend your hard earned buck. Look no further.
The Clippers have done a solid job assembling some quality talent around their dynamic duo of Paul and Griffin. Veteran’s Chauncey Billups, Lamar Odom and Grant Hill are around to provide stability and leadership. Khloe Khardisian sighting in Milwaukee anyone? The Clippers also tout an emerging young center in DeAndre Jordan, Racine, WI native Caron Butler and the sharpshooting Jamal Crawford.
Sounds like an ideal Saturday night to me!
8. Saturday, December 29th v. Miami
I really don’t think this game needs too much hype from an overzealous writer, so I’ll make this short and sweet.
Saturday Night.
Defending NBA Champs.
LeBron. Wade. Bosh.
And former Buck Ray Allen returns to town.
