Dallas Cowboys’ Dez Bryant Sued for Third Time Over Unpaid Rent
Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant is in hot water, to say the least. Over the past weekend, two lawsuits have been filed against Bryant in as many days. On Monday, Bryant was charged with a third lawsuit for non-payment and damages at an apartment near Bryant’s Alma Mater, Oklahoma State, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
During Bryant’s short college career at Oklahoma State, he has yet to pay $3,479 in rent and damages to an apartment complex near the university. Bryce Campbell is the property manager for several apartment complexes in Stillwater, including the one in which Bryant stayed. “He still has not paid us,” Campbell said. “He will not answer our calls.”
Bryant is also being sued by a New York company for unpaid jewelry and the same charge plus non-payment for sporting events tickets to a Colleyville, Texas broker. All of this comes less than a week after Bryant was escorted out of North Park Mall in Dallas for breaking the dress code and shouting profanity at police officers.
