A rather well-known Texan took a shot at Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones on Sunday night following the team’s 34-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Professional cyclist and seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong indicated in a tweet he thinks Jones’ meddling with the team is a big reason for the Cowboys’ inconsistency.

"If" I had a few hundred million bucks I'd buy the Dallas Cowboys then get the hell outta the way.

Armstrong’s comments came following the Cowboys’ worse loss since Jason Garrett took over as head coach in Week 10 of last season. Jones hasn’t handled the Cowboys’ personnel well lately, making some mistakes regarding releasing players and not pulling the trigger on trades.

It’s nice to see a celebrity question Jones’ handling of the team. Many of the Dallas faithful have long wanted Jones to hire a general manager, but to no avail. As of Monday afternoon, Jones had not responded to Armstrong’s comments.
