At least one NFL Hall of Famer likes Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. Former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith said he would have loved to play with Tebow.
“I like his spirit,” Smith said. “I like the way he approaches the game. He’s a competitor. He’s not a quitter. He’s a winner. He wants to get better.”
NFL.com reports that Smith went on to say “he would have loved to play with Tebow.
The Broncos recently unveiled Jesus Jerseys honoring Tebow, who some have deemed the “savior” of the franchise. Tebow is 4-3 as a starter in the NFL, so technically he’s a winner, like Smith said. Tebow and Smith also hail from the same college, the University of Florida.
