“Tebow Time” has become a saying that has been used for the 4th quarter of Denver Broncos games because Tim Tebow has played at an amazing level during 4th quarters compared to his play during the 1st three quarters of play. This saying has sorta lost its popularity after Denver and Tebow have been blasted by the the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills in recent weeks. This week vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, I’m going to tell you why it is more important than ever for Tim Tebow that “Tebow Time” regains its reign.
If Tebow leads the Broncos to a victory and the AFC West division title, he will give the Broncos organization and fans hope that he can develop into the face of the franchise. The offseason would have no considerations of free agent or rookie QBs. The offseaosn would instead be full of developing Tebow to be the man in Denver. If he doesn’t play well and the Broncos manage to lose to the Chiefs, they will fail to reach the playoffs and will end the season with 3 dreadful losses, which bodes for a long offseason for Tebow.
It would be tougher for the Denver organization to not think about bringing in a verteran or rookie QB to compete with Tebow if he losses this week. It is not only “Tebow Time” for Tebow, but it is also time to put together 4 quarters of good football and produce an all around good performance and a victory!
I predicted that Denver would beat the Bills and have clinched a week earlier…the Broncos made me look bad on that choice.
This time around I am going with Denver again. I think the Broncos Defense will be tough on the Chiefs’ run game, will pressure Orton all game, and will not allow many points. The Denver offense will stick with the run game and use it to set up the pass, which will have good results.
