Fantasy Golf Rankings for the RBC Heritage
Kevin Liles-US PRESSWIRE

Hilton Head has some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. However, this year there are not many big names attending the event, but there are still a few. Below are my top fantasy golfers for the RBC Heritage Open:

1. Luke Donald – Donald remains one of the only big stars at the event and is a heavy favorite to win it all.

2. Brandt Snedeker – Snedeker won the event last year by holding off Luke Donald down the stretch, so expect another solid outing from the kid from Vanderbilt.

3. Jim Furyk – “Furiousus Furyk” has put in three consecutive strong performances, and is looking like an easy pick to finish in the top-ten.

4. Padraig Harrington – Harrington is the favorite sleeper to win this weekend, but will have to start of strong because the courses in Hilton Head tend to get windier by the hour.

5. Ernie Els – In his last three tournaments Els went 10 under at the Shell Houston Open , 5 under at the API, and 5 under at the Transitions Championship. He has really turned it on this year and has a good chance to win an event at some point this year.

6. Matt Kuchar – Kuchar is the hottest golfer on the tour with four top-ten finishes in a row, including finishing third in the Masters last weekend.

7. Webb Simpson – Simpson has struggled in the last two tournaments, but his performance at the Transitions Open (68-69-69-68) makes him a threat to win each week.

8. Jason Dufner – “Duff-man” has been outstanding in the first two rounds in the last three tournaments Masters, Arnold Palmer Invitational, and Transitions Open), as he has combined to averaged 67.6 strokes a round. However, the last two rounds of those tournaments provide a completely different story, as he averages 73.6 strokes in the third and fourth rounds. Dufner is swinging very smoothly right now and just needs to keep it up for a full 72 holes.

9. Mark Wilson – Wilson missed the cut at the Masters, but still has 2 top-ten finishes on the year.

10. Boo Weekley – Weekly is the unknown “Boo Radley” pick this week and is one of the best value picks after the first handful of golfers come off the board.
