Many of the big names may be across the pond at the British Open, but the True South Classic will host an array of talented golfers. Below are my shortened fantasy golf rankings for the TSC this weekend:
1. Chris Kirk – “Captain Kirk” won the event in 2011, so except him to put it into warp speed this weekend.
2. Brendon De Jonge – “BDJ” has two top-10 finishes this year and will be a heavy favorite this weekend.
3. Bud Cauley – Cauley finished fourth at the event last year and the youngster is getting really comfortable with his irons.
4. Luke Guthrie – Guthrie is having a career season and the Illinois grad lives on the greens on these types of open courses.
5. Blake Adams – Adams has finished in the top-30 in five consecutive tournaments.
