Week 3 Fantasy Football Injury Report

The third week of the fantasy football season is upon us, and people all over the nation are scrambling to find the latest injury updates.   To help you set your fantasy lineup, here is my week 3 fantasy football injury report:

 

Players Who Will Play:

QB Blaine Gabbert, Jacksonville Jaguars – Gabbert will start today for Jacksonville.

RB Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams - Despite an injured groin, Jackson will suit up today against the Chicago Bears.

RB Michael Turner, Atlanta Falcons – Turner will still start against the San Diego Chargers today, despite recently getting arrested for a DUI.

WR Marques Colston, New Orleans Saints – Colston will be in action today against the Chiefs.

WR Devery Henderson, New Orleans Saints – Henderson will play today due to concussion symptoms.

WR Torrey Smith, Baltimore Ravens – Smith desperately wants to play following the death of his younger brother earlier this morning.

WR Dexter McCluster, Kansas City Chiefs – McCluster will be active against the New Orleans Saints today.

TE Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers – Miller will play today despite a rib injury.

TE Kellen Winslow,  New England Patriots – Winslow may have just joined the team this week, but he will still be active today for New England.

 

Players Who Will Not Play:

RB Matt Forte, Chicago Bears - Forte has been ruled out for this weekend’s game.

WR Pierre Garcon, Washington Redskins – Garcon will not be suiting up in today’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a foot injury.

WR Austin Collie, Indianapolis Colts – Collie will not play against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a head injury.

WR Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia Eagles - Maclin has already been ruled out against Arizona with a hip pointer.

TE Kevin Boss, Kansas City Chiefs – Boss will not play against the Saints after suffering a concussion.

TE Dustin Keller, New York Jets – Keller will not play again with a hamstring injury.

 

Game-Time Decision:

RB Ryan Mathews, San Diego Chargers – Mathews will be a game-time decision today with his injured collarbone.
