Fantasy Football Injury Report Week 7: Some Big Names are Questionable
Aaron Hernandez - Questionable
Aaron Hernandez came back last week and should be good to go. This is just Belichick being Belichick.
Ahmad Bradshaw - Questionable
Ahmad Bradshaw practiced Thursday and Friday and should be good to go this weekend, but his foot problems are well documented, so be careful.
Brandon Pettigrew - Questionable
Brandon Pettigrew has been dealing with injuries every week but still playing. I might consider sitting him against the Chicago Bears defense.
Danny Amendola - Out
Danny Amendola is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury.
DeMarco Murray - Out
DeMarco Murray might miss a few games with a sprained ligament in his foot, but the good news is the injury is not season-ending. Roll with Felix Jones if you have him.
Dez Bryant - Questionable
Dez Bryant was limited in practice all week but the team expects him to play. Still, he was limited in practice on Friday so look out for any updates.
Donald Brown - Out
Donald Brown was expected to miss a couple of games with his knee injury. Vick Ballard will get the start.
Greg Jennings - Out
Greg Jennings is going to miss his third straight game with a groin injury. I'd roll with James Jones if you have him, who's scored two touchdowns in three straight games.
Haloti Ngata - Questionable
This isn't an offensive player, but the Baltimore Ravens are a completely different defense without Haloti Ngata on the field. If he misses this game, you have to bench the Ravens defense with Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb out.
Jimmy Graham - Out
Jimmy Graham has been ruled out with a sprained ankle and did not make the trip to Tampa Bay.
Kevin Kolb - Out
Kevin Kolb missed the end of the game against the Buffalo Bills with a rib injury and should be out at least a couple of weeks.
Laurent Robinson - Out
Laurent Robinson will miss this week's game with a concussion, though I wouldn't start him even when healthy.
Pierre Garcon - Doubtful
Pierre Garcon has been battling a foot injury all year long after getting hurt in Week 1. It looks like he won't play this week in their first divisional game of the season.
Rob Gronkowski - Questionable
Rob Gronkowski has evidently been battling a serious hip injury all year, but he's toughing it out and hasn't missed a game. Expect him to keep playing.
Trent Richardson - Questionable
Richardson hurt his ribs last week and came out of the game, but expects to play this weekend.
Wes Welker - Questionable
Wes Welker has started to come alive in the Patriots offense and should be a starter in your lineup every week. He is not hurt.
The 2012 NFL season is in full swing and it is starting to take its toll on some of the players. There is a long list of players deemed questionable or worse on their team’s injury report, so you will have to pay attention this weekend in order to properly set your fantasy football lineup. Some of these injuries will present opportunities for their backups as well, so if you’re in need of a bye week filler then this article will help you there as well.
Some of these guys will be familar on your injury tracker, but there are some new names to keep an eye on. Trent Richardson of the Cleveland Browns got hurt last week and is listed as questionable this week with a rib injury. The Browns expect him to play but I would monitor his situation closely. Richardson is a beast though and should be able to tough it out.
And of course you have the ridiculous injury situation with the New England Patriots, where Bill Belichick continues to play mind games even though no one ever really believes his injury report. Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez and Wes Welker are all listed as questionable, even though all three played last week and suffered no setbacks during the week of practice.
These are just a couple of the injury situations to monitor on Sunday morning. Click through the slideshow below to get the scoop on all major NFL injuries. Be sure to also check back tomorrow for any and all updates concerning injuries.
