Fantasy Football: Week 9 Rankings

Looking Ahead at Week 9

week
Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

Week 9 of the NFL season has arrived and with that, fantasy owners around the country are trying to figure out what they need to do to make a playoff run while at times not having some of their best players available due to bye weeks. This is the time of year I love and hate at the same time. I have had seasons where at this time, I’m hoping against hope that I can sneak into the playoffs while other seasons have seen undefeated records at this point. I have never done that and won’t again this year but the roster decisions that are made in the next few weeks will be key to that deep playoff run.

There are decisions like picking between Robert Griffin III and Peyton Manning and one wrong move does you behind the 8-ball for the next week. I have seen owners going crazy in the last minutes before kickoff changing their lineup over and over again. I remind you right now that there are bigger things in this world that don’t involve fantasy football like what is happening on the East Coast. While we all take this very seriously, let’s make sure we take the right time out to do what we can to help.

With that disclaimer, here are my Week 9 rankings to help you get through this week and always feel free to tweet your fantasy questions @ASchmidtSports. My hope is that I can help you get that victory you may desperately need as the regular season gets closer and closer to its conclusion.
