Fantasy Football: Week 11 Rankings
Who Is Ranked Where?

We have reached Week 11 of the fantasy football season which means another week has ticked off of the regular season. Hopefully you are in a great spot to move into the playoffs and not sitting on the outside looking in right now. There were a ton of injuries last week that are going to impact this week’s rankings with Alex Smith, Jay Cutler and Ben Roethlisberger all looking unlikely to play which has an effect on all of the other players on their teams.
There are also the impacts of bye weeks and thankfully for fantasy owners, this is the final week of those for the 2012 season with the Vikings, Titans, Giants and Seahawks all taking this week off. That also means that Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, Eli Manning, Chris Johnson, Marshawn Lynch and the Giants’ wide receivers are all out of play this week so be sure you get them out of your lineup right away and don’t wait until Sunday when who knows what will happen.
With all that, here are my rankings for Week 11. There are a few surprises along the way so make sure you play the higher-ranked player and go from there. You can always tweet me any fantasy questions @ASchmidtSports and I will get back to you before the games get underway. It is getting down to crunch time so take the time out to figure out that lineup and make sure no one is on a bye week. Good luck with your fantasy teams this week.

Defense

This is a week where some defensive efforts could bring in huge fantasy numbers from teams like the Texans, Bengals and Falcons. I wouldn’t be shocked if 15-20 fantasy points come from any or all three of those defenses this week. If you want to go deep, take a chance on the Eagles defense. They just may surprise owners this week.
