Week 14 Fantasy Football Beast: Marshawn Lynch Scores 3 TDs

After a minor blip on the radar in Week 12, when the Seattle Seahawks played the Miami Dolphins only to see Lynch’s three-game touchdown streak get snapped, Lynch got right back to it on Sunday. He rumbled on for 128 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns in a dominating 58-0 victory over the division rival Arizona Cardinals.

It only took Lynch two and half quarters to run the lowly Cardinals into the ground before exiting the game (along with QB Russell Wilson) for resting purposes. However, Lynch still did enough damage to give fantasy owners a huge week.

Not all was cheerful in Seattle though. Following his second touchdown of the game, Lynch owners were given a scare after his troublesome back tightened up. However, it turned out to be nothing serious, as he was able to re-enter the game despite a 31-0 lead and burn the Cardinals one more time for a 33-yard score early in the third quarter before exiting for good. Lynch never went into the locker room to get his back checked out, so no need to worry about his Week 15 availability unless we hear something different next week.

Lynch has rushed for at least 100 yards in five of his last seven games and has scored seven touchdowns during that span. He’ll prepare to square off against his former team, the Buffalo Bills, in another favorable matchup. Continue to roll with Lynch as a RB1.
