Week 15 Fantasy Football: RB Alfred Morris Will Have 100 Yards, One TD
This weekend when the Washington Redskins travel to play the Cleveland Browns it will be a very different game for the Redskins. Superstar rookie quarterback, Robert Griffin III will play with his sprained knee, but will be severely limited as far as the game plan. The Redskins will likely rely much more on the ground game.
Fellow rookie, running back Alfred Morris, is also having an outstanding first fantasy football season, but seems to be forgotten in all of the RG3 FOR MVP discussion. Morris is currently ranked fourth in the NFL with an amazing 1,228 yards and has amazingly gone over 110 rushing yards in three consecutive games. He has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners this season and is primed for another huge game this Sunday.
Cleveland is currently 18th against the run in the league, but when RG3 comes to town, it is a completely different game plan. Defensive coordinators obsess over trying to stop RG3, which leaves Morris tons of open running lanes, something that Cleveland will surely do regardless of how healthy the rookie quarterback is. This will once again only give Morris room to work.
Morris has been getting plenty of open running lanes to rack up yardage all year long, so expect him to easily eclipse 100 yards in this tough non-conference matchup. Washington will be looking to pound the ball inside with Morris to give the banged up Griffin III a small breather, which is another reason why fantasy owners can expect Morris to easily see the ball 25 times this weekend.
Morris will have another big game this weekend against an aging Browns front seven, so fantasy owners with Morris can rest assured that they will get at least one stud performance from their lineup this weekend.
Week 15 Fantasy Prediction: 26 carries, 123 rushing yards, 1 TD
