The 2012 fantasy football season ended for most leagues in Week 16 and with it saw many great performances and several that left a bad taste in many owners’ mouths. It was definitely a day with a lot of offense along with several interception and punt returns which brought big points to every possible fantasy starting position. I have a list of ten players that will either get a present from Santa Claus or a lump of coal in their stocking.

The biggest problem with making this list was the players I had to leave off the list for presents. There were players like Aaron Rodgers with three touchdowns and Wes Welker with ten catches yet again to break another one of Jerry Rice’s records. There were definitely more hits than misses during Week 16 but if you started any one of these players or had a combination of them, you are likely celebrating a fantasy championship this week. That also comes with the bragging rights that go with it.

With Christmas on the doorstep, here is my list of ten players that were great or miserable for fantasy football this week. I would love to hear about your fantasy hits and misses from this week’s action so tweet me @ASchmidtSports and let’s hear if I missed any more players that should have made this list. I will have Week 17 rankings later this week so those leagues that are just playing right up until the end. Otherwise for those of you who won the title yesterday, congratulations and let the Christmas present opening begin.
