Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez came up huge for fantasy basketball owners in their playoff matchups Wednesday night with a season-high 38 points.

Lopez not only posted a season-high 38 points, which was just the second time he scored over 30 this year, but he also nabbed 11 rebounds. Seven of his boards came on the offensive side and he also added a steal and two blocks. He was able to get to the line, shooting 8-of-10 while going 15-of-22 from the field. The double-double was his 11th of the year. Lopez has scored in double digits in 10 straight games, but had been struggling on the boards as this was his first double-digit rebound game since Feb. 5.

Coming into the season the two knocks on Lopez were that he was a bit injury prone and he wasn’t a good enough rebounder for his position. He has been able to stay healthy for the most part, and has been able to get his rebounds per game back up to a respectable rate of 7.1; highest since the 2009-10 season. His rebounding is still pretty low for a seven-foot center, however, as he ranks 35th among centers in rebounds.

Fantasy-wise, he has proven to be a top-10 center thanks to his 18.7 points per game, which ranks first among centers. Fantasy owners will hope he can continue to rebound efficiently while keeping his scoring up as the fantasy playoffs wind down.
