Fantasy Football 2013: Sleeper Picks- T.Y. Hilton

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts have a few names you may recognize. Headlining the team is star second-year quarterback Andrew Luck.

Luck threw for 23 touchdowns and 4,374 yards in his debut season with the Colts. As a number one overall pick, he has high expectations to live up to. Luck carried the Colts to the playoffs in 2012 with virtually no offensive line help. Luck made a great statement that he is a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

To go along with Luck is one of his favorite targets, T.Y Hilton. Hilton was another rookie last season that took the Colts to the next step. Hilton had 50 receptions that turned into seven touchdowns and 861 yards. This guy went from a guy nobody has ever heard of to a household name in Indianapolis. If you had the pleasure of having this kid on your fantasy football team in 2012, you were a lucky son of a gun.

Heading into his second year, Hilton is a great sleeper option. Many people still don’t really know who this kid is. The truth is, he could be a top 15 PPR receiver next season. With one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL throwing you passes, it boosts your value by an entire round. This offseason, Hilton will be gaining skill and chemistry with Luck.

The crazy thing is, it wouldn’t be outrageous to think you could get this guy in the 9-10 round range. His production could be worthy of a 5th or 6th round draft pick. This may be one of the best sleepers out there, so let’s keep this one between me and you.
