The 2013 Masters has finally arrived and fantasy golf fans all over the country are left with just one question: Is Tiger Woods worth drafting as the number one golfer?

Well, I am here to tell you that he absolutely is worth taking as the number one fantasy golfer this week.

Woods is a four-time winner at Augusta. He won it in 1997 with a course record score of 18 strokes under par. Woods won back-to-back in 2001 and 2002. His most recent victory was in 2005, though, so it has been a while since he has had a strong showing on the world’s biggest stage.

Woods has put on the green jacket four times throughout his illustrious career, but he was severely struggling in the beginning of the year. He has worked relentlessly over the last couple months, though, and the veteran finally has his swing back.

He has shockingly won three of his last five tournaments this season, and the old Tiger is officially back. He won the Arnold Palmer Invitational with a score of 19 under. Woods won the WGC-Cadillac Championship with a score of 19 under and even won the Farmer Insurance Open a couple weeks ago with a score of 14 under. Now those are the numbers you would expect from Tiger Woods.

Woods is playing his best golf heading into the Masters and should be the number one fantasy option this weekend. Expect Tiger to once again show why he is the number one ranked golfer in the entire world.
