This weekend’s race in Darlington will be a very special race, as it will mark the return of Denny Hamlin. Hamlin has been out since March 24th with a compression fracture in his lower back and it will be an extremely emotional return for the #11 car.
Additionally, Jeff Gordon will be making his 700th consecutive NASCAR start. JG has won the championship four times and he once was the most dangerous driver on the circuit. He may not be the threat he was in the late 90’s, but Gordon has always raced well in South Carolina, so expect another strong showing this weekend.
