Tennessee Titans’ Kenny Britt is Undervalued in Fantasy Football Drafts

Don McPeak-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans have been under the radar for most of the offseason. They’ve improved their defense and offensive line drastically, and I believe that they have a chance to steal the AFC South if they can steal a game from the Houston Texans.

One of the major keys to Tennessee’s success will be wide receiver Kenny Britt, which is why you should pick him in for your Fantasy Football team.

Britt is potentially the Titans’ go to guy when he’s healthy. He has looked great in preseason this year, and, with an improved offensive line, quarterback Jake Locker will actually have time to pass down the field instead of dumping it off close to the line of scrimmage. In a one-on-one situation, I’d take Britt over 80% of the cornerbacks in the NFL. He’s fast, big and wants to get the football.

You could get Britt as your second or third receiver easily in most Fantasy drafts. If he can stay healthy, he’s an elite receiver in the NFL and could put up ridiculous numbers this season.

Tennessee has so many good receivers on their team that defenses are going to be stretched to deal with all of them. Word from preseason practices is that Kendall Wright may be the best player on the Titans, Damian Williams trained with Usain Bolt in the offseason and Justin Hunter has a lot of potential.

If that’s not enough, the threat of Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene in the backfield will stretch the defense even more. The Titans are going to have a lot of weapons offensively, and that will give Britt the opportunity to breakout this year.

With all the potential Britt has, he’s a steal late in your draft. If you don’t have him somewhere on your Fantasy team, you’ll regret it at the end of the season.
