Fantasy Football: Now is the Time to Trade for Denarius Moore

It’s finally that time of the fantasy football season. It’s the time when you have to make the move to try to position yourself to be ready for the fantasy football playoffs. You are looking to add on that key free-agent or looking to drop players that just are not helping your team.

If you are looking for a wide receiver to add to your team for the playoff push, I can give you a guy that will most certainly continue to help the rest of the season.

The Oakland Raiders have been a run-first team ever since drafting running back Darren McFadden. Since drafting McFadden they have not had much of a passing attack either, even with Carson Palmer last season. This season, however, Terrelle Pryor is under center for the Raiders and giving them more of a passing attack than they have had in recent years. The receiver that is helping this process is someone you need to trade for, and that is player Denarius Moore.

Moore was a good waiver wire addition over the past few weeks, but now he is someone you need to consider trading for in your fantasy league.

Before Week 6, Moore had a total of 317 yards and three touchdowns, but all he did was add onto it this week against the Kansas City Chiefs. On Sunday, Moore had 82 yards receiving and scored the only touchdown for the Raiders. These are the numbers of someone you definitely want on your team moving forward.

The best thing about Moore, at least for someone trading for him, is that he has not established a big name in fantasy football as of yet. You can get him in a trade for a reasonable price. I think if you offer a 2nd- 3rd tier running back for him, if you can, that would be an excellent trade for you.

Remember, a fantasy football season is all about bench depth and who you can add to your team when you need it. Getting Moore would do both of these things for you and would lead to success for the rest of the season!
