For fantasy football owners, there is nothing worse than bye weeks. It forces you to keep your best players on the bench and can be one of the most frustrating parts of the entire season. Unfortunately, this week the New Orleans Saints are on a bye, which means many fantasy owners will be looking for a signal caller to start. To help you narrow down your decision, here are the top waiver wire replacements for Brees in Week 7.

QB Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals (23.4%) – After throwing three touchdowns against the depleted Buffalo Bills unit last weekend, the Red Riffle has another decent matchup this week versus the Detroit Lions. I wouldn’t expect Dalton to throw three more touchdowns this Sunday, but he should easily be able to walk away with 14 fantasy points in Week 7.

QB Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles (2.6%) – Recent reports have QB Michael Vick practicing with the third team offense, which is not a promising sign for his availability for Week 7. All signs point to Foles getting his second consecutive start for the Birds. Foles threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns last weekend against a strong Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ secondary and the second-year quarterback ended the day with an incredible 29 fantasy points. He has a much softer matchup this weekend, as he will face a Dallas Cowboys’ defense that is ranked 30th in the league versus the pass and surrendering 308.2 yards per game. If you can get ahold of Foles, he would be a great Week 7 replacement for Brees.

QB Mike Glennon, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1.3%) –  Glennon finally had a breakout performance last weekend. He was 26-43 for 273 yards, two touchdowns, and a very impressive 18 fantasy points. In Week 7, Glennon faces off against the Atlanta Falcons, who are currently 26th in the NFL against the pass and has given up 12 touchdowns already this year. Glennon could be a very sneaky play this week for anyone that needs a quarterback.
