Week 10 Fantasy Football Dark Horse Sleeper: TE Heath Miller

Related: 2013 Fantasy Football Dark Horse Sleeper: Mike Brown

It is no coincidence that ever since TE Heath Miller has come back into the picture for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the offense has been much more productive. Miller has been one of the favorite targets of QB Ben Roethlisberger for years now and the two have formed a very strong rapport, so naturally in order for the offense to click they both need to be healthy.

Pittsburgh may have been beaten 55-31 last week by the New England Patriots, but the team’s offense finally started to come out of their funk. They combined for 479 total yards and Roethlisberger ended the game with four passing touchdowns.

The Steelers face off against a Buffalo Bills’ pass defense that is ranked 24th in the league this weekend and the team has allowed a league-leading 20 passing touchdowns against this season. Even more promising is that Buffalo has also given up three touchdowns to opposing tight ends over the last three weeks, which bodes very well for Miller in the upcoming week.

Miller will have a big game this weekend and the tight end will be a worthy starter for anyone desperate for a bye week replacement. He won’t go over the 100-yard mark by any means, but he should end the day with around 60 receiving yards and potentially grab a touchdown pass.
