Week 11 Fantasy Football Dark Horse Sleeper: WR Rueben Randle

By Adam McGill

The New York Giants are slowly coming around offensively. In his season debut last week, RB Andre Brown ripped off 106 yards on 22 carries and scored a touchdown. Even QB Eli Manning has limited his turnovers lately, as the struggling quarterback has only thrown one interception over the last three games.

Among these positive signs on offense, WR Rueben Randle continues to develop into a strong weekly  fantasy football option. WR Hakeem Nicks has obviously not looked like himself this season and Randle has not disappointed with the extra reps in the Big Apple.

Randle has shockingly hauled in five touchdown passes over the last five games. Over that same stretch, WR Victor Cruz hasn’t caught a single touchdown. Cruz is still the number one wideout, but the attention the salsa dancer draws downfield has opened up tons of space for Randle to shake loose.

New York plays the Green Bay Packers in Week 11 and the Cheeseheads have allowed five passing touchdowns over their last two games alone. They have been getting abused by opposing offenses lately and this could be the week where Eli puts up some strong fantasy numbers.

Randle will be a great sleeper to start this week and should be able to take advantage of another favorable matchup. If you own the young route runner, don’t be afraid to give him the nod again this week.
