Week 13 Fantasy Football IDP: Defensive Back Sleepers
Each week of the fantasy football season, there are plenty of sleeper articles out there for offensive players. However, there are never enough IDP sleepers. So to help set your final lineup in IDP leagues, here are some fantasy sleepers at the defensive back position for Week 13.
DB Mark Barron, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Barron has matured dramatically in his second year in the league, as the former Alabama standout has averaged seven hits over his last five games. He has learned how to tackle better in the open field, which has only helped him post better numbers. Tampa faces a run-heavy Carolina Panthers team, so Barron should easily be able to amass seven hits in Week 13.
DB Reggie Nelson, Cincinnati Bengals – Nelson has racked up 19 tackles, two tackles for loss, and an interception in the last three games. He will be in the box a lot this weekend, as the team faces the multi-dimensional running backs of the San Diego Chargers, so expect the safety to once again be very active.
DB Aaron Williams, Buffalo Bills – Williams is becoming a leader of Buffalo’s secondary and the former corner is putting together a decent season for IDP owners. He is coming off a 10-tackle performance against the New York Jets and the defensive back will be forced to have another big game against the Atlanta Falcons in Toronto. Williams will be able to rack up at least six hits on Sunday.
