Week 15 Fantasy Football IDP Sleepers: Defensive Backs

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Each week of the fantasy football season, there are plenty of sleeper articles out there for offensive players. However, there are never enough IDP sleepers. So to help set your final lineup in IDP leagues, here are some fantasy IDP sleepers in the secondary for Week 15.

DB Jairus Byrd, Buffalo Bills – The Byrd Man has racked up 17 tackles over his last three games, to go along with one sack and three interceptions. He has produced like a star IDP option over that stretch, but he is shockingly only being started in 4% of Yahoo IDP formats at the moment. Byrd should have another big game against an awful Jacksonville Jaguars team, so make sure someone is starting the ballhawk this weekend.

DB DeAngelo Hall, Washington Redskins – Hall has 13 tackles over his last two contests and the veteran will be asked to do a lot this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons. Hall will once again be marked up with WR Roddy White, and considering that White has seen 24 targets in his last two games alone, Hall will get plenty of chances to make a play.

DB Reshad Jones, Miami Dolphins – The safety has been quietly filling the box score for fantasy owners. He has finished with five tackles or more in seven of his last eight games and has developed into one of the team’s surest tacklers. Jones will be asked to do a lot more with starting corner, Dimitri Patterson, done for the year and the extra responsibility will start this week against the New England Patriots. A five-tackle performance seems like a safe bet for the safety in Week 15.
