Two Running Backs You Need to Think About Benching Week 15 in Fantasy Football
Week 15 of the fantasy football season is the middle of the fantasy playoffs. This week will determine which of you will head off to your league’s championship game or if you will be playing for third place. That being said, the most important thing you need to measure up this week are matchups. A matchup can make or break any running back or wide receiver. At this point of the season you have to trust your stud players. Guys like Jamaal Charles or A.J. Green are must plays no matter who they play. You drafted these guys high during your draft and must them play when it counts. However, for some of the players that you may have picked up in later rounds or off the waiver wires you have to check out the matchups this week.
I have for you two running backs below that you must consider benching in Week 15. These guys have played very well for you all season long. I am not saying you have to bench these guys, but I am saying that if you have an option that is close to being a good play you should think about it.
One guy that I personally have on all of my fantasy football teams is Andre Brown. This guy has had a huge impact on every team that picked him up off the waivers or held onto him on their team’s IR spot. However, going into Week 15, Brown and the New York Giants have a problem. That problem is the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks have one of the toughest defenses in the league and are excellent stopping the running game. If you own Brown and you have to play him then do it. However, if you have someone on your bench like Donald Brown or someone of that caliber then you may want to consider him over Brown for Week 15.
Injuries have a huge impact all throughout the fantasy football season. There is no other greater impact than now when it comes to those issues. In Week 15, the Detroit Lions play the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football, and Reggie Bush is very questionable to play in this game. Owners of Bush who do not own Joique Bell just have to consider playing someone else. Bush has been a lightning bolt for your team the entire season, and it’s tough to sit him in such a crucial week of the fantasy season. However, this is not the week to wait until Monday night to see if he plays or not. Hopefully, for your team’s sake, you have someone that can replace Bush this week. He just cannot be depended on in Week 15
