Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire: SG Randy Foye

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

In every fantasy basketball format, owners are always looking for the hot hand to grab off the waiver wire. Owners try to find the player dropping 20 points a game, and in some instances, these waiver wire pickups end up maturing into daily options.

One of the players that is currently filling up the stat sheet has been Denver Nuggets SG Randy Foye. The guard has been absolutely on fire during the team’s latest hot-streak. The team has won six of their past seven games, and Foye has been a major reason for the team’s sudden success.

In eight games this month, Foye has averaged an impressive 17.1  points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. Foye is also adding a gaudy 3.1 triples per game and the veteran has been just as hot from behind the arc. He has produced like a SG1 in January and he has proven that he can fill the box score night after night.

Foye has seen a drastic increase in his ownership in fantasy leagues in recent days, but he is still only owned in 36.7% of ESPN leagues at the moment. The swingman can be a valuable commodity to plug in during off days and is certainly worth the waiver wire addition at this point in the season.

If Foye is sitting on the wire in your league, it is about time someone picked him up already.
