Fantasy Basketball: Oklahoma City Thunder-Miami Heat Predictions

Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

In honor of tonight’s battle between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat, here are a couple bold fantasy basketball predictions for the potential Championship matchup.

1. SF Kevin Durant Will Drop 40-Plus Points

Durant has been absolutely unstoppable this month. The forward has eclipsed 30 points in 11 straight games and  has averaged a jaw-dropping 38.5 points per game over that stretch. He is putting up video game-like stat lines at the moment and KD should easily drop another 40-plus on the Heat.

2. SF LeBron James Will Just Miss Out On A Triple-Double

King James will obviously have a monster fantasy performance tonight and once again fill out the stat sheet like an All-Star. However, when the final whistle blows, I think he will just miss out on a triple-double. Look for him to finish with 20-plus points to go along with seven boards and eight helpers.

3. C Chris Bosh Will Have 20-8 Performance

Bosh has gone over 20 points in six of his last seven games and the big man has averaged 24 points per game over that span. He has been strong in the low-post lately, as has averaged 7.2 boards per game this month, and the center will be asked to spend most of tonight’s game banging around in the paint. Bosh will be a key factor in tonight’s matchup and the veteran will record yet another 20-point/8-rebound performance.

4. PG Reggie Jackson Will Drop 18 Points

Jackson continues to be the team’s main facilitator at the point with Russell Westbrook done for the year following another knee surgery.  Jackson has averaged 16.5 points over the last nine games to go along with 5.3 assists and 3.7 dimes. He should have another big game tonight and be able to score at least 18 points in the shootout.
