The Arnold Palmer Invitational always brings some big names and this year will be no different. Popular golfers Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, and Justin Rose will all be making the trip to Bay Hill. To help you pick your lineup, here are the top-25 fantasy golfers for the 2014 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
McGirt finished eighth at the API in 2013. He may not be a top-tier option, but he will be worth a shot due to his previous success here.
Sneeds has been off his game this season, as he has finished outside the top-45 five times and has missed the cut twice.
Poulter has two top-seven finishes earlier in the year, but he hasn’t cracked the top-45 in the four stroke tournaments since. He will be a very risky pick this week.
Garrigus finished fourth last week at Valspar and now has seven top-28 finishes on the year.
Choi has four top-20 finishes on the year and the super-veteran may surprise people this week.
Westwood has struggled since parting ways with his instructor Sean Foley, as he hasn’t cracked the top-30 in three straight tournaments.
Jacobson has four top-20 finishes on the year, including two in his last two tournaments.
Tringale has cracked the top-25 in four of the last five tournaments. He will be a great sleeper to look for this week.
Ishikawa quietly has six top-25 finishes on the year. The 22-year-old will be worthy a shot inside the top-20 this week.
Woodland has notoriously struggled at Bay Hill, as he has never cracked the top-25. However, he is having a career year and already has five top-16 finishes.
Reed is in the middle of a breakout season. He has cracked the top-25 in seven straight tournaments, including a win at the WGC-Cadillac Championship and Humana Challenge.
Moore has four top-10 finishes on the year, including a win at at the CIMB Classic earlier in the year.
Fowler has made the cut in his three trips to the API, including a third place finish in 2013.
Including match play, Mahan has five top-12 finishes in seven tournaments this season.
Schwartzel has three top-17 finishes stateside and another two worldwide.
Bradley has seven top-20 finishes on the year. He finished third here last year and should have another respectable outing this week at Bay Hill.
Na has quietly racked up two top-four finishes in finish in his last four tournaments. He will be worth a top-10 pick this week in Florida.
English has six top-10 finishes already this season. The 24-year-old is one of the hottest golfers on the tour and will be a very popular fantasy pick this week.
After dealing with a nagging shoulder injury all year, Rose finally posted a top-10 (8) last weekend at Valspar. He is looking healthier with each passing week and will be worth a top-10 pick this week.
Johnson has six top-16 finishes on the year, including two wins. H is one of the safest picks, as he is magically second on the tour in driving accuracy (73.6%) and fourth in putting (1.710).
Woods has won two straight API championships, and considering he had a little extra time to rest, he should be back in form this week.
Scott has only participated in four tournaments this season, but he has cracked the top-25 each time.
After a horrible start to the 2014 season, Stenson has finished inside the top-17 in two of his last three tournaments. He has made the cut in all five appearances at Bay Hill and finished eighth here last year.
In five PGA events, McDowell has cracked the top-nine four times.
Watson has been on fire recently. He has four straight top-nine finishes, including three top-two finishes. Consider him the top fantasy option this week.
