Fantasy Football: 5 Reasons Why RB Knowshon Moreno Will Fail With Miami Dolphins
I want fantasy football players to understand that if Knowshon Moreno signs with the Miami Dolhpins, he will not have the same type of season he did in 2013. Moreno was a beneficiary of playing with the Denver Broncos and the offensive juggernaut that was Peyton Manning. He will struggle with the Dolphins.
Here are five reasons why Knowshon Moreno would fail with the Miami Dolphins.
5. The Committee Approach

Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas are both still on the Dolphins. I have a feeling that the Dolphins will go with the "hot hand".
4. Blocking Duties

Moreno won the starting job in Denver over Montee Ball because of his ability to protect the quarterback. If the Dolphins can not find players in the draft to protect Tannehill, Moreno will will spend more time blocking than rushing.
3. Distractions

With all of the distractions that the Miami Dolphins have faced and will face, Knowshon Moreno may have a hard time concentrating on his job.
2. Offense Is Mediocre

In 2013, the Miami Dolphins ranked 20th in passing yards and 26th in rushing yards. That is a far cry from the Broncos' offense that ranked 1st in passing yards and 15th in rushing yards.
1. No Peyton Manning
1. No Peyton Manning
Moreno has played with other quarterbacks in the past, but Manning allowed Moreno to become a dominant force in fantasy football. With Ryan Tannehill running the offense, Moreno will just be another disappointing running back that plays for the Dolphins.
