Whether you love him or hate him, Johnny Manziel will be the most talked about player until the NFL Draft. If you are a fantasy football player and missed out on drafting Cam Newton or Robert Griffin III, or you drafted Geno Smith last season thinking he would be the next fantasy super star, here is a chance to redeem yourself. The Pro Day for Johnny Manziel is a must watch for any serious player.
Witnessing the strengths and weaknesses of Manziel will allow you to determine the team that would be the best fit for him. A player will obviously try to only showcase his strengths on a Pro Day, but what if Manziel has an underwhelming performance in a few areas? This will help to build a better picture of Manziel, and the more information you have to work with, the better decision you will make in your draft.
Even when the regular season is over, the NFL never takes a break. Watching Manziel now will give you a key edge over your opponents, and putting in the work now can lead to a championship at the end of your season.
Between work and family, it can be hard to find time to watch college games. If you have been unable to track Manziel through his career, here is a perfect opportunity to watch the young quarterback and create your own evaluation.
Has someone in your league already confessed their love for Johnny Football? Mess with their heads by posting on Facebook about how you are going to draft Manziel in the third round of your draft. Let your competition reach super early for him, or talk about how you hate him and make your opponent think that they can draft him in the later rounds. There are plenty of mind games to be played.
Will Manziel's stock drop after his Pro Day? Could it be on the rise? The fantasy value of Manziel is largely based on what team he plays for, so pay close attention to what everyone from reporters to coaches say about his performance.
