Portland Trail Blazers PF LaMarcus Aldridge has been one of the most productive big men all fantasy basketball season long. He has averaged over 20 points/10 rebounds per game all year and has truly matured into an elite fantasy option.

Unfortunately, Aldridge was injured in the middle of the month. He injured his back a couple weeks ago and ended up missing the first two games of the fantasy playoffs this week. It was a devastating blow to many owners that drafted the forward within the first 15 picks this winter.

He luckily returned on Friday after missing the last two games. He not only had a decent fantasy performance, but Aldridge put down some serious ink in the box score.

Aldridge finished his comeback game with 25 points on 9-21 shooting and to go along with 16 rebounds. The forward was also a flawless 7-for-7 from the charity stripe and added one block. It was the perfect fantasy stat line and the veteran didn’t look like a player that missed the previous seven games due to injury.

Aldridge will be a must-start again now that he is healthy and he is back just in time to make some noise in the fantasy playoffs. He will post his usual 20-10 numbers and will be an elite option to lean on down the stretch this year.
