Lackey shut down the Texas Rangers on Monday, striking out five over seven shutout innings while giving up just five hits and two walks. Lackey is now 2-0 and boasts a 1.38 ERA and 0.85 WHIP to go with 11 strikeouts over 13 innings. Lackey looks more and more like a pitcher you should trust and he's next scheduled to take on the Yankees.

Ludwick has now gotten a hit in five straight games. Three of those have been multi-hit games and he hit his first home run on Saturday off of Dillon Gee. Ludwick is locked in as the Cincinnati Reds starting left fielder, and as long as he's healthy he has a shot at being a positive contributor, especially in deeper formats and NL-only leagues.

Calhoun got off to a slow start, but he homered for the second time in four games on Monday. In addition to the home run, he drew two walks and scored three runs to be entrenched as the Angels' leadoff hitter. I absolutely love Calhoun this season -- I had him ranked as my 43rd outfielder heading into 2014 -- and owners will be rewarded for their early patience.

After going hitless in the Brewers' opening day series against the Braves, Khris Davis absolutely caught fire against the Red Sox. In their three game series, Davis went 8-for15 with four doubles, six runs and an RBI. Davis has struck out in each game so far this season, but strikeouts were to be expected. Fantasy owners aren't going to mind as long as he continues to display power.

The Yankees placed David Robertson on the disabled list Monday, and it looks like Shawn Kelley will step into the closer role for the time being. Kelley has no experience being a major league closer, but he retired all three batters he faced in his first save opportunity on Monday. Kelley should be added in all leagues.
