No hitter in fantasy baseball is hotter than Mark Trumbo of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Trumbo was traded to Arizona this off-season from the Los Angeles Angels for a handful of talent, including starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs, but Trumbo has obviously had the biggest impact right away.

Trumbo has started his career off in the desert on fire and the outfielder is currently leading the majors in most of the offensive categories. The slugger is currently tied for the MLB lead with five home runs and the outfielder is also tied for the league lead with 13 RBIs. He is posting video game-like numbers for fantasy owners.

Trumbo was the forgotten man for several seasons with the Angels. He was posting All-Star quality numbers, but he was constantly being outshined by sluggers  Mike TroutAlbert Pujols, and Josh Hamilton.

Regardless of the lack of press in LA, Trumbo still crushed 30-plus homers in back-to-back season and recorded a staggering 195 RBIs over that span. He has matured into a legitimate power-hitter and has one of the most effortless swings in baseball.

Trumbo will struggle every season to get his average over the .280 mark, but the power numbers will always be there. Expect the veteran to easily eclipse 30 homers again in 2014 and post 100 or more RBIs for the second consecutive fantasy season.
