The key to fantasy NASCAR is not knowing which drivers to draft, but rather knowing which drivers to ignore. To help you differentiate between the two, here are five fantasy NASCAR drivers to avoid during the 2014 5-Hour Energy 400.

5. Danica Patrick

Patrick may be the best looking driver in NASCAR, but it hasn’t translated into many fantasy points. Patrick hasn’t cracked the top-20 in five straight races and her knack for causing accidents hasn't earned her any friends on the track.

4. Brian Vickers

Vickers has enjoyed marginal success this season, as he has four top-10 finishes.
However, he finished 32nd and 31st in his last two races in Kansas City. Vickers may be a decent sleeper on some of the shorter tracks, but fantasy fans shouldn't bother with him this weekend.

3. Martin Truex Jr.

In his last four races in Kansas, Truex Jr. has three top-five finishes. He has dominates this track through his career. Unfortunately, he has been all over the place this season. He has just one top-10 finish on the year and is currently 27th in the Sprint Cup Standings. MTJ is one driver that is in a serious slump right now.

2. Kyle Busch

Busch has shockingly finished outside of the top-30 in three straight trips to Kansas City. He wrecked his car in all three attempts and has finished an average of 160.6 out of 267 laps. Busch may be one of the best drivers on the circuit, but the M&M car won't be worth reaching for this Saturday.

1. Joey Logano

Logano has been on fire in recent races, as he has two wins in the last four races. Unfortunately, J-Lo has never done well at Kansas. He has an average finish of 23.67 here and has just one top-10 finish in nine races. Logano is one superstar to avoid this weekend in Kansas.
