The Memorial Tournament always features some of the biggest names in the sport. Unfortunately, the large field normally makes it tough to spot talent. To help you pick your fantasy foursome this weekend, here are the top-20 fantasy golfers for the 2014 Memorial Tournament.
Watson has been rather quiet since winning the Masters last month. Unfortunately, Watson has never cracked the top-20 at Memorial and he has missed the cut twice. He will be a risky fantasy option this week.
Day hasn’t golfed much this year, as he has missed a good deal of time with a nagging thumb injury. JD will be rusty early on this week and it would be better to avoid him all together.
Davis has three straight top-25 finishes at Memorial and he will be one of the top sleepers to grab this week in Dublin.
Fowler hasn’t cracked the top-35 in his last two trips to Memorial. Before that, though, Fowler placed second in 2011 and 22nd in 2010. He will be worth a late-round flyer this week.
Chappell has been rather productive this spring, as he has three straight top-26 finishes. Chappy will be worth grabbing while he is on such a hot-streak.
Dunfer is coming off playoff loss at Crowne Plaza Invitational, but it was his fourth top-10 of the year.
After a long slump, DeLaet appears to be turning his season around. He has cracked the top-15 in two straight tournaments and the Canadian now has eight top-20 finishes on the year.
Holmes has racked up five top-19 finishes in the last seven tournaments, including a win at the Wells Fargo Championship.
Schwartzel is 6-for-6 at Muirfield, including an impressive T8 last year. He heads to Ohio with six top-19 finishes in nine stroke/match play events this season and will be a safe bet to crack the top-20.
Woodland has seven straight top-26 finishes this year. He has also added two top-20 finishes in his last three appearances at Muirfield Village.
Sabbatini has cracked the top-20 in five straight appearances in Dublin, Ohio. The South African will be a legitimate sleeper to target this week.
Mickelson has cracked the top-20 at Muirfield in three of his last four appearances. He is quietly turning his season around, as he has three top-20 finishes in the last six tournaments, so fantasy fans expect another strong performance this weekend.
Spieth is on fire right now, as the 20-year-old has cracked the top-15 in five of his last seven tournaments alone.
Furyk has 13 top-25 finishes at Memorial and the veteran always pulls his weight at Muirfield Village.
Donald has made the cut here in six straight attempts. He has also racked up four top-14 finishes over that time and the super-veteran will be a great sleeper to take a shot on this week in Dublin.
Rose dealt with a nagging shoulder injury at the beginning of the season, but he appears to be on top of his game right now. JR has finished inside the top-15 in four straight tourneys and the veteran is one of the hottest golfers on the tour.
McIlroy has 10 top-11 finishes worldwide in 11 stroke-play tournaments. He has officially reclaimed his spot among the best golfers in the world.
Johnson has three top-20 finishes at Muirfeld Village, including a solo fourth place finish back in 2011.
Scott's win at Colonial only cemented his rankings as the number one golfer in the world. He has three top-15 finishes at the Memorial and the new #1 will have another strong showing this week in Muirfield.
Kuchar is the defending champion and the veteran has five top-10 finishes at Memorial. He will be the first golfer off the board this week.
