To help you set your lineup this week, here are five players that must be in all lineups in Week 10 of the fantasy baseball season.
Toronto has been putting on a scoring clinic recently, as they have scored 42 runs in the six games alone. Reyes, as the team’s leadoff hitter, has certainly benefited from the extra run production. The veteran’s .250 batting average leaves something to be desired, but he is constantly finding ways to get on base (.322 OBP) and the speedster has stolen 11 bases in the month of May alone. He is a must-start in all formats.
Week 10 Games: 6
Solarte has an impressive .299 batting average and has already slugged six homers. He has earned a spot in the team’s everyday lineup and doesn’t appear to be leaving anytime soon. Solarte is eligible to play third base and the outfield, but he has even been moved over to second, which will only increase his eligibility. Solarte has become the ultimate infielder in the Bronx and the slugger is starting to find his power swing.
Week 10 Games: 7
Wheeler is finally starting to find his groove. Over his last two starts (13 IP), Wheeler has a 2.08 ERA and has struck out 16 batters. The 24-year-old is living up to his ace potential and will be worth a start this week with the extra trip to the hill. He should easily throw over 13 innings, and considering his matchups, Wheeler could surprise people with two quality starts.
Week 10 Starts: (6/3 @ CHC) (6/8 @ SF)
In his last nine games alone, Segura has racked up six multi-hit performances and scored nine runs. He has raised his average up to a respectable .269 and the stopgap appears to be over that dreadful early-season slump. If you haven’t activated Segura yet, this is the week to finally get him into your lineup.
Week 10 Games: 7
Lackey is 6-2 on the year and the aging hurler has struck out 68 batters in 71.2 innings of work. Lackey will have two tough road matchups this week, but he is pitching too well not to start. If you own the aging veteran, make sure to plug him into your rotation for Week 10.
Week 10 Starts: (6/2 @ CLE) (6/7 @ DET)
