The U.S. Open is right around the corner, and as a result, there will be a lot of talent making the trip down to Tennessee. To help you pick your fantasy foursome, here are the top-20 fantasy golfers for the 2014 FedEx St. Jude Classic.
Ever since his back-to-back top-six finishes, Fowler has missed the cut twice, finished 38th at the Wells Fargo, and 77th at the PLAYERS. He will be a risky selection this weekend.
Jacobson has eight top-20 finishes this season, and while the veteran won't be a threat to win it all, he will be a pretty safe bet to crack the top-20.
Sabbatini finished seventh here in 2013, and considering his past success, the veteran will be worth a top-20 pick with the limited field.
Hoffman has quietly racked up two top-18 finishes in his last three tournaments this year.
Woodland is one of the most underrated golfers heading to Tennessee. He has nine top-20 finishes this year, including six in his last eight tournaments.
Allenby has 11 top-20 finishes at TPC Southwind, including a career best T10 in 2013.
Na is in the middle of a breakout season. He has already racked up six top-11 finishes and seems to be in contention in every tournament.
After an awful start to the 2014 season, Mickelson has quietly racked up four top-20 finishes in his last eight tournaments. He finished tied for second here last season and fantasy fans should expect another solid week from Lefty.
Horschel is starting to pick up his game, as he has finished 26th at the PLAYERS and 15th at Memorial. He finished tied for 11th here in 2013 and will finally be worth a grabbing as a first golfer in deeper formats.
Hearn has made the cut here in four consecutive attempts, including a T18 in 2013.
Stallings went to school at Tennessee Tech and currently lives in Knoxville, so this is clearly a home course for the veteran. He tied for second here last year and showed that he knows every inch of this course.
Merrick is 5-for-5 in cuts made at TPC Southwind, including a second place finish in 2012 and an 11th place finish in 2011. He will be a great sleeper pick to grab after the big names come off the board.
McDowell has six top-10 finishes on the year in 10 events. The Northern Irishman shows up in every tournament in turns in a card.
Johnson has two wins this year and the veteran is currently fifth on the tour in driving accuracy. Look for ZJ to abuse the fairways in Tennessee this week.
English won this tournament in his debut at TPC Southwind in 2013 and youngster is having a breakout fantasy campaign (six top-10's).
Toms is the all-time earnings leader at TPC Southwind. He is a two-time winner and also has two second place finishes to his name. The 47-year-old will come with some risk, but he knows this course better than anyone.
Westwood won this tournament back in 2010 and recorded a T11 in 2011. The veteran will be a very safe pick to roll with this week in Tennessee.
Palmer has shockingly racked up two top-five finishes at TPC Southwind in the last two years. This is one week to go all-in with the veteran.
Kuchar was a late addition to the field, but he has been red-hot this spring. In 16 tournaments, Kuchar nine top-10 finishes and another three top-20 finishes.
Johnson won this tournament back in 2012 and posted a T10 in 2013. Johnson is the best all-around golfer on the tour right now and he deserves to be the number one guy off the board this week.
